Lovely to meet you. I'm Riley Spicer (or Riles, for short), and I am an artist and explorer working to co-create a more caring world. I'm an artist from the US now living in Barcelona, Spain. With a big laugh and soft heart, I'm here to do what I can to make the world a better place and help others do the same.

My goal in life is to help everyone grow the tools they need to be their best selves and be able to work together to build a better world. I believe that, as Grace Lee Boggs said, you have to "transform yourself to transform the world." I explore the intersection of self transformation with action toward collective liberation. We must find the balance -- we cannot successfully act if we have not done the internal work, but we cannot get lost in personal growth without taking action. I envision a world where we are all able to be who we are without shame and work together to serve and support each other's needs, where we put people before profit, and where everyone has access to what they need to not only survive but to thrive. 

Soft Heart Studio is a creative studio where I share my are while working in community and with individuals to transform ourselves as we transform the world. Don't let the term "creative studio" fool you. Creativity comes in all forms, including creating social change.
